Apple Cider Donuts Are Here 🍎

Fall’s creeping in, and that means one thing at Timberline Farms and Black Market Bakery in Hammonton, NJ: apple cider donuts are here.

We don’t like shortcuts, so we make ours the old-fashioned way — from scratch, every single batch. No pre-made mixes, no mystery powders, no “just add water” bags. We use seven simple ingredients:

  • Flour

  • Sugar

  • Salt

  • Baking Powder

  • Whole Milk

  • Apple cider we actually reduce ourselves and mull with real cinnamon sticks

  • Fresh eggs from our own pasture-raised hens

That’s it. Nothing fancy, nothing fake. Just honest ingredients that come together the way donuts are supposed to.

Most folks don’t realize it, but a lot of farms and roadside stands in our region use pre-made apple cider donut mixes. It’s faster, sure, but you can taste the difference. When you bite into one of ours, you get real flavor — cider boiled down until it’s thick and sweet, eggs gathered that morning, and a donut that was made with intention.
