Join us on May 2nd from 6 to 9pm at Timberline Farm for an in person launch of the Mullica River campaign, bringing together the people who know and care about the Pinelands most.
The night is built around a folklore style open mic, where locals can share stories that define life in the Pinelands, from tall tales and ghost stories to personal memories tied to the land and water. Alongside that, local musicians and artists will keep the space active, making it feel less like a formal event and more like a gathering rooted in place.
Set outdoors with a bonfire and space to move around, the event is meant to feel like the Pinelands itself. It is a chance to connect, hear from one another, and build momentum around protecting the Mullica River watershed. Throughout the night, groups working on Pinelands protection will be tabling, including materials on the Mullica River campaign, ways to take action, and opportunities to plug in locally. There will also be food, drinks, and a raffle featuring local vendors, with proceeds helping support ongoing work in the region.
This is a family friendly event, open to all ages, and designed to bring together longtime locals, new supporters, and anyone who wants to be part of protecting the Pinelands moving forward.
