Apple Cider Donuts Are Back!
What makes our Apple Cider Donuts stand out? I’m so glad you asked…
Most farm stand donuts you'll find in South Jersey this fall start from the same place: a bag of pre-made dry mix. Ours don't. Every batch we fry is made from scratch, right here on our farm in Folsom, NJ. No shortcuts, no mix.
No pre-made mix, ever
If you've had a disappointing "farm" donut before, there's a good chance it came from a pre-made dry mix. We make ours from scratch every single Saturday, using real ingredients.
Fried in coconut oil, not vegetable shortening
It's a small switch, but it makes a real difference. Coconut oil gives our donuts a cleaner flavor with none of the greasy aftertaste you get from shortening-fried donuts. Once you taste the difference, it's hard to go back. We also recycle our oil and turn it into soap.
Made with our own free-range eggs
We raise free-range hens right here at Timberline Farms, and those eggs go straight into our donut batter. From our hens to your donut. that's about as farm-to-table as apple cider donuts get right here in Atlantic County.
