The longest day of the year is arriving. Spring planting is complete. We now take out our baskets and reap the harvest. In the Pinelands, that often means blueberries. At Timberline Farms, it means sunflowers, overflowing trays of eggs, fresh herbs, and wildflowers. We are preparing our fields for pumpkins, whose seeds will be sown soon after the summer equinox.
We have reached peak madness! Each week, we feel further and further behind. The hot New Jersey sun ripens tomatoes, while testing our patience for one another with its heat. Yet we remain full of hope. Hope that we will get our hands on just one perfectly ripe New Jersey peach in August. Hope that our communities will keep land out of billionaires' hands. Hope that one day, all wildlife, including humans, will live in a peaceful, healthy, symbiotic relationship with one another, with our planet, and with the entirety of the universe.
Nothing makes us feel hope and connection more than folk music and live storytelling that captures the beauty of rural history and community. And so…

Performer Bios
Roger Harvey
Roger Harvey built a career as a world-traveling independent musician, but home never left the rearview. Harvey’s new record, On Blue Mountain, brings him back to his rural Pennsylvania roots. Equal parts country, folk, and rock, the record focuses Roger’s story through a voice and sound hard-won between the highway lines. On Blue Mountain is an ambitious next step for a songwriter whose love of music never wavered over the years.
Harvey has steadily grown a dedicated following while performing his brand of introspective country music all across the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Canada. His work ethic and songcraft earned praise from Rolling Stone and resulted in extensive touring over the years with The Menzingers, Against Me!, Tim Barry, Bouncing Souls, Frank Iero, and many others.
On Blue Mountain was produced by Grammy-winner Justin Francis and features talented friends Erin Rae, JP Harris, John R. Miller, Kelsey Waldon, Lizzie No, and Rachel Baiman.
You can find Roger on the road performing solo, alongside steel guitarist Mike “Slo-Mo” Brenner (Magnolia Electric Co.), or with his new band, The Blue Mtn Boys.
Roger will be performing an acoustic set for A Midsummer Madness.
